Remembrance Day is a nationally recognized day of memorial to honour those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, and those who continue to serve and protect Canadian rights and freedoms. Since its origin, Remembrance Day has always been designated the eleventh day of the eleventh month, and this year November 11th is coming up on Saturday.
